Wayne Mitchell
Wayne Mitchell has worked in the energy industry for more than 25 years and now runs his own energy consultancy business, Dallington Energy. He also dedicates a proportion of his time to people and businesses who need a quick shot of expertise.
While Wayne usually works for large industrial and commercial clients it's evident that there are small businesses, not-for-profit organisations, and individuals, who wouldn't usually engage an energy consultant, who are struggling to navigate the energy market. With a small investment of time and expertise issues can be resolved quickly, reducing time and stress.
You may have an ongoing issue with a supplier, you're struggling with erroneous data, you can't get an energy connection, you may be applying for a job in the industry and want someone to take a look at your CV, you may need a recommendation, or you're looking for an energy contact. Whatever you need, ask the question, we might be able to help.
Do you think it's a silly question? Have you got yourself into an embarrassing tight spot? Concerned that you might be asking too much? Ask anyway, even a few words of advice might help move things along, and it's always confidential.
Wayne is now joined by three further Energy Mentors offering a proportion of their time every week to people and businesses who need a sharp injection of expertise. Wayne is joined by Jon Davies, Chris Webb, and Georgina Penfold, all of whom have significant and diverse energy industry expertise.

A small trade association needed some help to pull together a basic carbon emissions analysis based on their energy consumption and travel. Within a few hours they had their assessment and some suggested methods of mitigation.
A homeowner needed help to resolve a long-running dispute with an energy supplier. Their meter was faulty, their meter reads were erroneous, and they had received some exceptionally high invoices. With a quick escalation to the executive complaints team we made swift progress towards resolution.
A small sports club was paying exorbitantly high energy bills and was struggling to make ends meet. New contracts were placed with an alternative supplier and annual energy costs were reduced by nearly 50% with almost immediate effect.
